  • Freight is included for any order drop-shipped from the factory. You can also pick up from our warehouse for free.

    If you need something delivered from our local warehouse to your jobsite, there will be an additional freight charge. Call or email for quote.

  • Batteries are not included.

    For residential air-cooled generators, you will need a Group 26, 525 CCA battery.

    We keep a stock of these for purchase at our local warehouse, or you can get one from any hardware or auto parts store.

  • Yes, all Generac air-cooled units are configured for natural gas by default.

    A simple field conversion must be completed in order to use propane instead.

    Please consult the installation manual for instructions.

  • Is natural gas available at your customer’s site? If so, it may be the cleanest, most dependable source of fuel they can use. They will not have to refill a tank.

    If natural gas is not available, propane vapor is the next alternative to consider. The propane supplier should be able to answer your questions about availability in your customer’s area and how large a tank they should consider.

    Diesel fuel also requires a tank, which is sold with the generator. Diesel fuel is more polluting than natural gas or propane vapor, buy may be ideal for certain remote applications.

    Gasoline is preferred for smaller portable generators, but there are dangers associated with storing it, and it will degrade over time.

  • Your electrician will tell you what voltage and phase is currently being supplied to your building.

    Normally you would use that voltage and phase, unless a reason exists to change the service (which can be expensive). These are the voltages and phases which we supply:

    • 120/240Volt, single phase (written as 1ph or 1Ø)

    • 120/208Volt, three phase (written as 3ph or 3Ø)

    • 277/480Volt, three phase (written as 3ph or 3Ø)

    • 120/240Volt, three phase (written as 3ph or 3Ø)
